How did you get started in photography?
I’ve always liked taking photos but I didn’t get into it professionally until I was showing my high school students what wedding videography was on YouTube.

Who inspired you along your journey?
God Words inspired me along the way

Who was the first person who believed in you?
Alexis – Aquas Images. She slid in my DMs and was looking for a videographer to film her mommies. I had to eventually break it to her that child birth gave me the wiggles

What was the moment you knew you could be successful at photography?
Hearing the reactions of strangers to my work when I first started

How do you define success for yourself?
I’m not sure yet.

Give us a typical day in the life of YOU.
Wake up, cereal, edit, run an errand, grab lunch, edit, dinner, edit in bed, sleep wake up and do it again.

What’s been your most important skill you’ve developed as a photographer?
Observing. When I’m learning I’m very quiet. I watch and listen.

What’s been your greatest challenge?
Task management

What’s been your greatest reward in choosing photography?

What do you want to learn from a community of your peers?
Any and everything they can offer and I would want to learn how I can side them in learning video.
