Something Unique You Do To Prepare for a Shoot: I try not to overthink any shoot. I can overthink myself into nerves, so while I keep my client’s vision in mind, I approach every shoot with an open mind to let my creativity go to work.
What Do You Listen To While Editing: Jill Scott Radio on Pandora
Piece of Advice You’d Give to Your next Client: Relax! I’m as laid-back as they come. I would say that’s one piece of feedback my previous clients have given me that I take to heart. When you and your photographer are both comfortable during your session, the rest is easy.
Piece of Advice You’d Give To a New Photographer: Embrace failure. Failure means that you’ve at least tried. The more times you try and fail, the more opportunity you have to learn, pivot, and try again.

Something Unique You Do To Prepare for a Shoot: Hmmm This is tricky. I wouldn’t really say it’s unique but I like to talk to the person and get their vibe while we are getting ready to shoot. Make them laugh a bit. This usually gets them comfortable for the remainder of the shoot.
What Do You Listen To While Editing: Robert Glasper Experiment, NeoSoul/Jazz
Piece of Advice You’d Give to Your next Client: Be you. Be natural. You don’t have to be all about poses with me. Sometimes its the moments that you would never capture that turn out the best!
Piece of Advice You’d Give To a New Photographer: Know that from your first shoot you are a photographer. Don’t stop there!
